matrix
The matrix has been laid out with the chosen professional competencies along the left hand side and the chosen evidence which satisfies the competencies running from left to right along the top of the matrix table.
RICS
The RICS project management competencies has a varying scale of accomplishment for each competency from Level 1 to Level 3. After assessing the RICS criteria and candidate guidance I have made a judgement on which level my evidence satisfies the competency.
The level achieved is shown in the matrix as;
L1 - Level 1
L2 - Level 2
L3 - Level 3
CIOB
The CIOB professional development program breaks down different competencies units into elements. To show whether I believe I have satisfied each of the elements in the matrix below have I shown the elements as achieved, in the matrix achieved competencies will be indicated with ACH
Competency Judgement
When evaluating whether my chosen evidence has satisfied the competencies in the matrix below I have referred back the relevant professional competency guidance for candidates and my own judgement as to whether evidence is applicable to each of the competencies.
This is not to say that an assessor for CIOB or RICS would necessarily agree with my judgement, and in some cases they may feel that my evidence doesn't fully satisfy their competency criteria.
The guidance I have referred to when making the judgement can be seen on the links below.
